Description

This is a mid 19th century brick kiln located at the brick yard in Mablethorpe and Sutton, specifically at Lakeside Springs Caravan Park. The kiln is constructed of red brick and features a large rectangular plan with battered buttresses. The short ends of the kiln have round-headed stoking holes, while the long sides contain eight kiln entrances.
