Description

The Methodist Chapel, built in 1815 and altered in 1867, is located on Main Street in Saltfleet Haven. It is constructed of red brick with cement render and ashlar dressings. The building features a hipped pantile roof with decorated eaves and rendered quoins. It is a single-storey structure with a four-bay front. The gabled porch, added in 1867, has a slit light on the east side and a doorway in the south wall. This doorway has a wedge lintel that is rendered and scored with voussoirs, a segmental head, and a plank door. To the left of the doorway, there is one window, and to the right, there are two windows. All windows have round heads, pointed traceried upper casements, rendered voussoirs, and raised keystones. Additionally, there are three similar windows on the west front.
