Description
Seabank House is a farmhouse located on Church Lane in Saltfleet Haven. It dates from the late 17th century, with significant alterations made in 1756, and further changes in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building is constructed of red brick and features pantile roofs with coped and tumbled gables, complete with kneelers, decorative eaves, and an off-centre ridge stack.
The house has a single-storey lobby entrance that was raised in 1756, which includes a first-floor brick band. The front of the house has three bays, with an off-centre 19th-century doorway that features a reeded doorcase, a small bracketed hood, and a panelled door. Flanking the doorway are single 20th-century casement windows with plaster wedge lintels. Above, there are three glazing bar sashes and a brick inscribed with 'TR 1756'. To the left of the 20th-century casement, there is a low lean-to addition.
