Description
The King's Head is a public house located on the west side of Bull Ring in Horncastle. It dates from the 16th century with later alterations in the 18th century. The building is constructed of mud and stud and is colourwashed, topped with a thatched roof that features a single ridge stack.
The front of the building is a single storey and attic, consisting of three bays. The central doorway has a moulded doorcase and a panelled door, with tripartite glazing bar sash windows on either side, each framed by moulded wooden architraves. There are also two thatched gabled dormers, each containing two-light sliding sashes. The interior does not contain any features of special interest.
