Description
This statue, located approximately 15 meters southeast of Scrivelsby Court in the gardens, was created in 1723 by F. V. Frese. It is made of ashlar and depicts a Roman warrior in armor, complete with a winged helmet and heels. At the warrior's feet is a cockerel or hen, and he holds a stone to his forehead with his right hand. The statue is set on a tall rectangular plinth that is inscribed with the words: "F. V.
