Description
The statue of a warrior, located approximately 18 metres south of Burton Agnes Hall, is a garden statue likely dating from the mid 18th century. It features a sandstone ashlar plinth that has an oblong shape with a moulded base, panelled sides, and a cornice that supports the statue. The statue depicts a naked warrior running forward, holding a sword and shield. This statue is part of a group of 18th-century statues situated in the gardens.
