Description
Manor House is an 18th-century house that was refronted in the early 19th century and extended in the later 19th century. It features colourwashed brick and stucco, with a rusticated ground floor and a slate roof. The building has an L-plan layout and is two storeys high with a three-bay front. The later 19th-century ground floor is advanced, flat-roofed, and parapeted, adorned with four pilasters, a cornice, and a parapet on the main front. The central entrance has a half-glazed door with a bordered overlight and a plain recessed stucco surround, flanked by large tripartite glazing bar sash windows. On the first floor, there are three glazing bar sashes, with the central window flanked by pilasters and decorative plaster leaves above. Inside, the house retains a staircase with narrow moulded balusters and a mahogany wreathed handrail.
