Description
Norton Hall is an 18th-century house with early 19th-century additions. It features stuccoed and whitewashed brick with slated roofs and has a double pile plan. The front of the building has three storeys and includes a central two-storey porch wing from the early to mid-19th century. The entrance front has two outer entrance bays that mark the original line of the facade, with two ground floor sashes, two second floor sashes, and two third floor sashes, all with glazing bars, a cornice, and a roof. The central porch wing contains a door and a first-floor plate glass sash, with returns featuring single ground and first floor plate glass sashes, a pediment, and a parapet. There are also two canted single-storey bows from the 19th century on the west side.
