Description
Lyng Hall Farm House is a farmhouse dating from around 1600. It features rendered brick with the east gable made of grey washed brick and a red pantiled roof. On the ground floor, there are two casement windows; one is a 19th-century four-light window with glazing bars on the west side, while the one on the east is from the 20th century. The first floor has three 20th-century casement windows and a central 20th-century glass door. The house has a crude modillion eaves cornice and two end chimney stacks. The roof was re-tiled in the 19th century. There are staircases leading to both end gable chimney embrasures, which are said to have brick treads. Inside, the first floor has internal partition walls that are timber framed.
