Description
Manor Farm Barn, formerly the Church of St. Peter, is a farm barn that dates from around 1200 to 1500. It is constructed of flint with brick dressings and features a 20th-century pantiled roof. The west gable has a blocked gable lancet from around 1200, and the southwest corner has conglomerate quoins that suggest even earlier origins. On the south side, there is a Decorated/Perpendicular door arch and a blocked two-light Perpendicular window with a surviving tracery head, along with central cart doors and a cut stone lancet. The chancel has been demolished, and the east gable is made of brick. The north side features Perpendicular two-light windows and a blocked Decorated window embrasure to the east. There are 20th-century roof and lean-to additions on the north side that are not of special interest.
