Description
Crome's Farm House is an 18th-century farmhouse that features a double pile design and stands two storeys tall. It is constructed of red brick and has a pantiled roof. The entrance front is made of red brick with some black headers and has blocked ground floor flat arches, indicating that there may have been an earlier facade with a more regular arrangement of windows than what is currently visible. The front includes one ground floor sash window and three first floor sash windows, all with glazing bars. There is also a late 19th-century ground floor canted bay window with leaded casements. A central 19th-century brick porch leads to a six-panel raised and fielded door.
To the right, a brick wall interrupts the facade at a right angle, with an additional two-storey bay that extends the facade to the west, featuring a single ground floor sash and a first floor sash, both with glazing bars. The building has a ground floor plinth, a first floor platband, and a hipped roof. The return facade to the east is blank, while the rear facade includes a ground floor tripartite sash window and a first floor sash window with glazing bars.
