Description
The Robin Hood Public House is a public house dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It has a roughcast rendered exterior and a concrete tiled roof, featuring brick coped gables with rendered stacks. The building is L-shaped and has a two-storey, five-bay front. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door that is accessed by two steps and has a plain overlight above it. This door is flanked by pairs of 20th-century bar-room windows, which also have overlights and flat lintels. On the first floor, there are five plain sash windows arranged in a non-regular pattern near the eaves. At the rear wing, there is a small two-light Yorkshire sash window positioned at a high level. The interior has not been inspected. The Robin Hood has been known to operate as an inn since 1784.
