Description
No. 110 High Street is a house and shop dating from around 1830. It is constructed of yellow stock brick with a stucco finish and features a hipped slate roof with two wall stacks.
The building has three storeys and a two-bay front. The ground floor includes a contemporary shop front with a central pair of half-glazed doors, which are topped by an overlight and flanked by pilasters with plain capitals. On either side of the doors are two-light shop windows that extend down the sides. The shop front has a plain fascia supported by plain pilasters at each end, and there is a rendered plinth below.
On the first floor, there are a pair of tall sash windows with splayed stucco lintels, while the second floor has two smaller, similar windows. The right side of the building features a half-glazed door set in a plain pilastered surround, topped with a small hood supported by scrolled brackets. Above this door is a tall semicircular-headed stair window. To the right, there is a single small segmental-headed opening that extends through all three floors. The left side and rear of the building are constructed of red brick.
The interior has not been inspected.
