Description
23 and 25 Pen Street is a pair of houses built in the early 19th century, designed to resemble a single house. They are constructed from red brick and feature a hipped concrete tile roof with overhanging eaves and a single square ridge stack.
The exterior consists of three storeys with a three-bay front that includes stucco sill bands. On the ground and first floors, there are three tall glazing bar sash windows, while the second floor has three smaller sash windows. All the sash windows have flat rubbed brick wedge arches above them. Each side of the building has a single-storey entrance that is set back, featuring a modillion cornice and a six-panel door with a plain overlight and a reeded door surround. There is a 19th-century lamp on a bracket at each corner of the building.
The interior has not been inspected.
