Description
Church View Cottages is a row of three cottages built in the mid-18th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. The cottages are constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, featuring rubbed brick dressings and a pantile roof with brick coped tumbled gables, along with two rendered gable stacks and a single ridge stack. The building is two stories high and has a nine-bay front, complete with a first-floor band and a dentillated timber cornice. Each cottage has a half-glazed door and a pair of two-light lattice casements on each floor, along with a blank opening above the door. All openings are topped with segmental rubbed brick heads. The interiors of the cottages retain dado rails, some fitted cupboards with H and L hinges, and original stairs with partitions and cupboards.
