Description
The building consists of a barn, conservatory, walls, and gateway at Frampton Hall, dating from the mid-18th century, with extensions and alterations made in the mid-19th century. It is constructed from red brick with ashlar dressings and features a roof made of corrugated tin and ribbed pantiles. The barn originally had a tumbled gable, which was changed in the 19th century to stepped gables.
The structure is two stories high with a three-bay front, featuring two planked doors under segmental arches. To the right, there is a pair of planked doors with a rolled rubbed brick hood. On the first floor, there is a semi-circular headed planked door with similar detailing. To the left, there is a single-storey bay with stepped gables and a pantile roof.
At the rear, there is a lean-to conservatory from the 19th century, and at the right end, there is a rustic lean-to summer house. Attached to the left end of the barn is a brick wall that includes a semi-circular headed planked doorway set in a pecked ashlar rusticated surround, flanked by gate piers. A lower stone-coped wall connects to another brick wall with a shaped dentillated top, which ends in a brick pier topped with an ashlar ball finial.
