Description
The gates, screen, piers, and wall to Frampton Hall date from 1725, with 19th-century extensions and alterations. They are made of red brick, ashlar, and wrought iron. The entrance features a pair of 18th-century wrought iron gates with flanking scrolled panels, which support an overthrow decorated with scrolls and leaves, topped by a rabbit symbol. On either side, low ashlar walls support a screen of spearhead verticals with a central scrolled panel, ending in 19th-century brick piers. Beyond these, low brick walls with matching 19th-century wrought iron screens and reused 18th-century screens lead to shorter 19th-century brick piers.
