Description

There are three stone piers connected by a curved ashlar wall, dating from the 15th century. These piers were relocated from Boston parish church after its restoration in 1774 and were used as a screen wall for the statue of Herbert Ingram in 1860. The piers feature a moulded plinth and have two panels on each side with pointed trefoil heads, topped with a moulded edge.
