Description

No. 60 Market Place is a house that has been converted into a shop. It dates from the mid-18th century and has been altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a plain tiled roof with a coped gable and a stack on the left side.

The exterior consists of two storeys plus attics, with a single bay front that includes a 20th-century shop front. Above this, there is a Venetian window with plain sashes, painted brick voussoirs, and a fluted central keystone. In the roof, there is a gabled glazing bar sash dormer with a lead roof. The interior has not been inspected.
