Description

This milepost, located opposite the junction with Borough Street, dates from the mid-19th century. It is made of cast iron and painted white, featuring raised black lettering. The post has a triangular shape and is stopped below the top plate, which is inscribed with "TO LONDON 115." The sides of the post are inscribed with "DERBY 11" and "LOUGHBRO 6," while the base displays "PARISH KEGWORTH."
