Description
The war memorial located in the churchyard to the west of St Helen's Parish Church is dedicated to those who served in the 1914-18 war and was unveiled on 13 November 1919. It features a red brick octagonal plinth topped with a stone plinth above. The polygonal shaft of the memorial culminates in a gabled section that displays a bas relief of the Crucifixion.
