Description
These 18th-century entrance gates and piers provide access to the churchyard of St Helen’s Parish Church. The piers are constructed from rusticated ashlar and are topped with decorative skulls and crossbones, as well as iron lampholders. Double iron gates are present, along with the remnants of an overthrow. Flanking pedestrian gateways are set into the piers and feature round arches supported by plain piers.
