Description

Hillpark Farmhouse and the attached stable block are a house and stable built in the mid to late 18th century, featuring two slightly different construction styles, with a 19th-century wing on the left. The farmhouse is made of red brick and has a 20th-century plain tile roof, along with rebuilt brick chimneys. It stands two storeys high with an attic and consists of three bays, with a central break in the building. There are band-courses at the first and second floor levels, with the left side being moulded. The brick eaves have narrow dentils.

The windows include barred wooden casements, with one three-light window on the ground floor to the left and two three-light windows on the first floor. To the first floor left, there is a two-light horizontal sash window with glazing bars, located above a door in an altered window opening. On the ground floor to the right, there are 20th-century three-light and single-light wooden casements. A 20th-century board door is positioned to the right of centre. The openings on the left have cambered heads, while those on the right have segmental heads.

A tall 19th-century brick wing projects to the left, and at the right end, there is a lower stable block with dentil eaves and steps leading up to the loft, which is dated 1772 on the brick.
