Description
This is a wall approximately 120 metres long, located at the embanked churchyard of the Parish Church of St Mary Magdelene. It was built in the mid-19th century and restored in the 20th century, although it has older origins. The wall is made of coursed squared limestone and coursed limestone rubble. It features an archway with a segmental-arched head, situated about 12 metres north of the west entrance to the churchyard. Within the archway, there is a well-chamber that is approximately square and includes stone steps leading down to the water.
