Description
Clawson Lodge Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1800, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a slate roof with brick end stacks. The building has an L-shaped plan and is three stories high, with a three-window range. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with an overlight and a segmental-arched head. The ground and first floors have 20-pane sash windows in the center, while the second floor has a 20th-century window flanked by three-light casement windows, all of which have segmental-arched heads. The farmhouse includes a plinth, three stone steps leading to the door, and dentilled brick eaves. At the rear right, there is a three-story wing that continues into a further two-story wing. Inside, the kitchen features a chamfered beam and a dog-leg stair with stick balusters.
