Description
Holmes Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1800, with alterations made in the late 19th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a pantile roof with two gable stacks. The building has a T-plan layout and stands three storeys high with a three-bay front. The central entrance consists of a half-glazed door with a plain overlight and a wood panelled surround, supported by moulded brackets beneath a narrow lead hood. On either side of the entrance are single 19th-century canted bay windows with flat roofs. The first floor has three glazing bar sash windows with splayed stucco lintels and keyblocks, while the second floor features three glazing bar sash windows positioned at the eaves.
