Description

The Chestnuts is a farmhouse built around 1800, with some minor alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a concrete tiled roof with raised brick coped gables and two gable stacks. The building is two stories high and has a three-bay front with brick dentillated eaves. The central entrance consists of a 20th-century door with a plain overlight, flanked by single margin light sash windows. On the first floor, there are three similar windows, and all openings have cambered rubbed brick arched heads. To the left of the main structure, there is a single-storey dairy with a pent roof.
