This chest tomb, made of limestone, is located approximately 5 meters east of the porch of the Church of St Egelwin the Martyr in Scalford. It dates back to 1719 and features a moulded plinth and ledger with concave end panels. The tomb commemorates John Lester, who died in 1719.
