Description
The Church of England School, built in 1848 with a later 19th-century addition to the east, is a brick structure featuring stone dressings and a plain tiled roof. The original section consists of three bays with steep, spiky outer gables that are coped and corbelled out, each bay containing 3-light windows that are stepped in height. The central bay has a gabled porch with a four-centred arched doorway. The original windows are decorated with a latticed tracery. The right-hand addition includes a lean-to porch and a tripartite tall window, which has three smaller single lancets above it. The building also features gable and axial stacks.
