Description

No. 9 Market Place is a shop with a dwelling above, dating from the early 19th century, although it likely has an earlier core. The building is rendered over brick and features a plain tiled roof. It is two storeys high and has two bays, with a modern shop front on the left and a smaller modern window on the right. The upper windows are 16-pane sashes, and the building has overhanging eaves. There are three hipped gabled dormers in the roof and a gable end stack. Additionally, traces of timber roof trusses are exposed in the gable wall.
