Description

The property at 27 and 29 Knights End Road consists of two semi-detached houses, dated 1809 as indicated by a stone plaque on the side facade. The houses are constructed of red brick with an eaves cornice and a tiled roof, featuring end chimneys. They are two storeys high and have three windows, including a central blank window on the first floor. The windows are late 18th/early 19th century 3-light casements; the ground floor windows have cambered head linings, while the northern first-floor window is a reproduction casement. The paired central doors are 6-panelled, with the top two panels now glazed, and are surrounded by moulded architraves. A 1½-storey outshut with a slate roof is present on the south side.
