Description

The Old Forge is probably a 17th-century timber-framed building. It is a long, single-range structure with a facade that is slightly angled towards the centre. The building has four irregular bays with braced uprights and red brick infilling. It is topped by a low tiled roof and features a central and end chimney. The building has one and a half storeys, with four dormers, and modern casement windows on the ground floor. A reproduction door is located in the centre, and the gable end exhibits square panel framing. Garage doors are on the east side of the facade. The building faces a village green.
