Description

No. 45 The Green is an 18th-century cottage located on the east side of Great Bowden. It is constructed of red brick and features a brick eaves cornice. The roof, which was originally thatched, has been raised and is now slated. The cottage has two windows and a six-panelled door, along with a 19th-century wooden trellis porch. The south side of the building includes an 18th-century red brick section with a slate roof, which is two storeys high. There is a garage entrance on the ground floor and one sash window with glazing bars above.
