Description

The wall and gate piers to the north of the Village Hall in Great Bowden date from the 17th century and are constructed of red brick. They feature pyramidal limestone caps topped with ball finials, which are designed similarly to those found to the southwest of the Old Rectory. Between the southwest pier and the Village Hall, there is a coursed ironstone wall with tiled coping. Additionally, about 3 feet of a former wall remains to the east of the eastern pier.
