Description

The Great Bowden Drinking Trough is a large stone structure from the 19th century. It features an upper section designed for cattle and horses, and a lower section intended for dogs and cats. The trough was originally established by the Metropolitan Drinking Fountain and Cattle Trough Association and was relocated to its current position, likely in 1967, as indicated by an inscription on the side.
