Description
Number 8 is an early 19th-century house with later detailing. It is constructed of brick and has a Welsh slate roof. The house has a double-pile plan and is two stories high, with a gable facing the street. The facade is symmetrical, with a central doorway leading to a door topped by a radial painted fanlight, sheltered by a flat canopy supported on console brackets. There is a semi-circular bay window on each side of the doorway, featuring lead-glazed windows and moulded wood fascias. The three upper windows are mullioned and transomed with lead glazing. A dentilled eaves cornice runs along the top of the house. A brick boundary retaining wall is attached to the house and is included in the listing for group value.
