Description
Lowesby Hall: Cottages are a pair of cottages, likely built in the early 18th century, with some later additions and alterations. They are constructed of ironstone rubble and brick, topped with a Swithland slate roof. The cottages are two stories high and have a two-unit layout. The facades are made of coursed ironstone rubble.
The left cottage features a doorway on the left side and a single light window with small panes next to it, both under the same lintel. To the right, there is a renewed three-light casement window with a chamfered timber lintel, along with two upper three-light casement windows and axial brick stacks.
The right cottage also has a doorway on the left and a small window beside it. Beyond that, there are two renewed casement windows with three and two lights, and a brick axial stack situated between them. The upper section has two casement windows with two and three lights. Additionally, there is a 19th-century brick range added to the rear.
