Pair of cottages, probably early Cl8, with some later additions and alterations. Ironstone rubble and brick with Swithland slate roof. 2 storeyed, 2 unit plans. Facades of coursed ironstone rubble. Left hand cottage has doorway to left and a single light window with small panes along side it under the same lintel. 3-light casement window with chamfered timber lintel to right, renewed. 2 upper 3-light casements, and axial brick stacks. Right hand cottage has doorway to left and a tiny window along side it, 2 casement windows of 3 and 2-lights beyond, renewed, and brick axial stack between them. 2 upper casement windows of 2 and 3-lights. C19 brick additional range to rear.
