Description
Two cottages, built in the earlier 19th century, are located on Gaulby Lane, Stoughton. They are constructed of whitewashed brick with a hipped roof covered in Swithland slate, featuring a brick stack at the ridge. Wide eaves are supported by iron brackets, and the cottages have gutters. The upper floor has two windows with two lights, which open centrally. A smaller, blank window sits above the entrance, with an overlight. The two ground floor windows, each with three lights, have cambered lintels. To the right is a further single-light window with a top light, and a further door at the right-hand end. The cottages are included in the listing for their group value.
