Description
This is a cottage dating from the early 19th century, although it has origins in the late 16th or 17th centuries. The construction is a mixture of colourwashed brick and timber framing, partially cruck-framed, with a corrugated tile roof and a brick stack in the centre of the ridge. Wide eaves are supported by iron brackets, and the windows are arranged in pairs of 3-light, centre-opening casements. The ground floor windows have cambered lintels, and there is a part-glazed door to the left. A wall post is visible on the left corner, and at the right end, there appears to be the base of a cruck blade, visible from inside the neighboring property at No. 23. The interior was not inspected in 1984.
