Description

A pair of cottages dated to the mid-19th century, located on Gaulby Lane, Stoughton. The cottages are constructed of whitewashed brick with a pantile roof and a brick central ridge stack. They feature a plinth and wide eaves with gutters supported by iron brackets. The upper floor has two-light casement windows. The ground floor has two centre-opening three-light windows, each with a cambered lintel. At either end of the front elevation are gabled porches with Welsh slate roofs, each featuring a Gothic archway and open one-light windows on either side, leading up a flight of brick steps. The cottages are included on the list for their group value.
