Description
No. 2 Church Lane is an 18th-century house constructed of whitewashed brick with a Welsh slate roof and brick end stacks. It features a band and coped shouldered gables, with the gable facing the front to the left. The house has two storeys, with two 2-light casements above a 3-light window and a door that has an overlight. To the left, there is a two-storey 19th-century extension with a ridge stack, which includes additional casements and a window with a nogged brick lintel. At the rear, there are more casements and two windows with glazing bars that form diamond and lozenge panes; the first-floor window has a pointed arched head. Extending forward from the gable towards Church Lane is a one-storey coach house and stable extension, which has double doors—one with a pointed arched head—and other windows and a door in a similar style.
