Description

The retaining wall to the rose garden at Lowesby Hall was built around 1912 by the architect Edwin Lutyens. It is constructed of brick and features a steep rake for most of its length. The easternmost section is perpendicular on a rubble plinth and is likely of an earlier date. The wall ends in a brick pier topped with a stone ball finial.
