Description

Pear Tree Cottage is a cottage dating from the later 18th century. It is constructed of red brick, with a rubble stone plinth and a Welsh slate roof, featuring brick end stacks. The eaves are dentilled. The cottage has two storeys and three 2-light horizontal sliding sash windows on each floor. The ground floor windows are similar, with top lights, and have cambered lintels. A central wooden doorcase has pilasters and a flat, bracketed canopy, sheltering a 4-panelled door and a fanlight with fine glazing bars.
