Description
Old Farmhouse is a house dated 1766, constructed of red brick with roofs made of Welsh slate and Swithland slate, featuring brick end stacks. The building has a moulded brick cornice and stands three storeys tall, with three 2-light wooden mullion and transom windows on the upper floors, and two similar 3-light windows on the ground floor. A central part-glazed door is present, with cambered lintels above all windows. On the second floor, there are three similar 2-light casements, with the cornice serving as their lintels. At the rear, there are two-storey wings, with the right wing containing two 3-light horizontal sliding sashes on both floors. An additional extension projects from this wing, featuring a tablet dated 1766 above the central first-floor window.
