Description

BURTON OVERY THE GRAVEL (East End) SP69 NE 3/19 South View II Cottage. C17, extended probably C18 and C19. Timber framed in part with whitewashed brick and mud nogging, and whitewashed brick. Thatch roof with 2 whitewashed brick ridge stacks. Gable facing, front to left. 2 ranges of 2 storeys, that to left timber framed. This has on 1st floor, 2 3-light leaded casements to left, and a 2-light casement to right. On ground floor, a 2-light leaded casement, door, and similar 2-light. 1st floor has 2 bays of close studded timber framing. Range to right has leaded casements: 3-light and 2-light over 4-light bow, 2-light and door. Casements and similar timber framing to rear.
