Description

Orchard Farmhouse is a farmhouse with an attached cottage, dating from around 1800. It has slate roofs and two gable stacks. The farmhouse has a plinth and a dentilled cornice. The east front of the farmhouse has two storeys and three bays. The central doorway has a four-panel door with an overlight, and a 19th-century gabled, latticed porch. To the left and right of the doorway are 8/8 hornless sash windows with glazing bars and cambered arches. Above these are a small central sash with glazing bars, and larger single glazing-bar sashes to the left and right. The attached two-storey, three-bay cottage to the right has 20th-century 3-light casements with cambered arches on the ground floor, and three 2-light casements above.
