Description
Home Farmhouse is a house from the early 18th century, constructed of coursed ironstone rubble and topped with a steeply pitched Welsh slate roof. It is two storeys high, featuring a main facade with four bays. The entrance consists of a 6-panelled door with a blank fanlight decorated with lozenge patterns, set beneath a flat canopy supported by console brackets, which dates from the late 18th century. To the left of the door are two windows, and to the right, there is one window, all of which are 2-light casements. The upper floor also has three 2-light casement windows. The house has coped gables with gable end stacks and two renewed dormers in the roof. At the rear, there are two brick wings; the northern wing is likely from the early 18th century and features a door with an overlight at the angle, along with two wood mullioned and transomed windows beyond.
