Description

The Hollies is a house dating from the 19th century, with a possible early 17th-century core. It features painted brickwork and a plain tiled roof. The building is 1½ storeys high and has a three-unit plan, with one bay to the right of the doorway, which is located in a gabled porch with a round-headed archway. The right-hand window is a two-light casement with a flat timber lintel and small panes. To the left of the door, there is a renewed three-light casement and a canted bay window with three lights beyond. Above, there are two gable dormers, with the right dormer containing paired two-light casements. The house has an axial stack and a steeply pitched roof, with curved principal rafters visible in the right-hand gable.
