Description

The White House is an 18th-century house, possibly incorporating an earlier core. It is whitewashed with a Swithland slate roof and features gabled cross wings, topped by two brick ridge stacks. The front elevation has two storeys, with three six-over-six sash windows on each floor to the left and right of a central doorcase. The doorcase has pilasters and a small canopy over a door with a fanlight. A three-light casement window is present on the right-hand end of the building, on both floors. Later additions include a 20th-century porch to the rear and casements. Inside, there are chamfered beams and an inglenook.
