Description
Nos. 123 and 125 on Main Street is a cottage built in 1850, now divided into two separate homes. The structure is made of slate rubble stone with a plinth, featuring buff brick dressings and an eaves cornice. It has a Swithland slate roof, which includes a similar brick central ridge and projecting stacks at both ends. The cottage stands two stories tall and has three 2-light leaded casement windows along with a central door. A stone on the building is dated 1850 and features an "L" and an Earl's coronet. To the left, there is a 20th-century single-storey extension that includes a door and casements, along with two 2-light casements in the gable. The right end has similar slight extensions with two 3-light casements and two 2-light casements in the gable.
